With the big power coupe, BMW has once again emphasized that the M8 is a serious sports car and not simply a two-door coupe.

Of course, the M8 justifies its place in the sports car league primarily through its engine.

Under the hood is a 4.4-liter V8 that produces 460 kW/625 hp in the most powerful engine variant.

With this engine, the bolide from Bavaria accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and then sportily on to a maximum 305 km/h, that the weight of a proud two tons is hardly noticeable.

But the M8 is not just fast. In addition to an extremely binding chassis and exceptionally precise steering, the new all-wheel drive of the BMW 8 Series Coupé M ensures sporty, luxurious driving pleasure on the road as well as on the racetrack.

Our exhaust system developers are not yet satisfied with the standard sound, which actually makes the high-end sound system in the interior superfluous.

A specially developed for the M8 exhaust system with flap control, as well as a downpipe to which a 200-cell sport cat. connects, provide more power and a much more powerful sound.
