Friedrich Performance for the Mercedes AMG GT R / GT R PRO

Motorsport with license plate

In the Mercedes-AMG GT R, the V8 biturbo with its 585 hp and a max. torque of 700 Nm really gets serious. The ultra-stiff set-up with ceramic brakes and Cup tires make the GT R the ultimate sports machine in this league. It's not for nothing that the additional "R" on the AMG GT stands for racing.

With some additional features from motorsport, the GT R Pro then takes over the expansion stage of the sports car with road approval. In contrast to the GT R, AMG installs even more of what is good and above all light in the GT R Pro racing model.

This means that in order to increase rigidity on the track, the GT R Pro is fitted with a bolted steel cage as standard both the four-point seat belts and a fire extinguisher ensure even greater safety on the racetrack in the bolide from Affalterbach.
In both GT R models, the four-liter V8 biturbo ensures identical performance from 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 318 km/h. To ensure that the road-legal sports car from Mercedes performs even better, our developers have modified some components of the exhaust system for both GT models to boost performance even further.
