Friedrich Performance for the Porsche 991.2 Turbo/S

The turbo is committed to tradition

Everyone has a Turbo now, but the Porsche 911 Turbo still stands above things. With the facelift on the 991.2, the Turbo and Turbo S model series became even stronger in terms of performance in 2016.

Although the 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine of the two top models only increased by 20 hp, bringing the Turbo to 540 hp and the Turbo S to 580 hp, this leap had a huge impact on performance.

At the time, the 991.2 Turbo S cracked the three-second mark in sprinting for the first time, accelerating to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and reaching 330 km/h for the first time.

But the conventional turbo also stepped up a gear and you could click the stopwatch at 320 km/h in 3.0 seconds.

Porsche drivers who own one of the two uncompromising vehicles in the Turbo family and would like to have it a little sportier have a range of performance-enhancing exhaust systems specially tuned for the 991.2 Turbo/Turbo S. The exhaust systems are equipped with electric exhaust flaps that open automatically in the sports driving profiles. The rear silencers are equipped with electric exhaust flaps that open automatically in the sport driving profiles.
