RS6 Avant

The powerhouse with style

A powerplant for the ages, at least when it has a character like that of the Audi RS6 Avant. The all-wheel drive station wagon with its 600 hp under the hood is the sporty top model in Audi's A6 series and thus the secret dream of many a father and husband.

One push of the start button and the "Beautiful Beast" comes to life. When it starts up, the RS6 barks hoarsely before lapsing into the biting sound that makes the V8 engine immortal for its fans.

The Audi RS6 Avant is an elegant appearance and a merciless racer at the same time. If it weren't for the station wagon looks, the Ingolstadt car could also pass for a super sports car.

Audi's developers have given it a full eight centimeters more width and stovepipe-thick exhaust trims, but if Friedrich Performance Manufaktur has its way, the RS6 could do with a little more.

In order to achieve this, the exhaust system manufacturer from Upper Franconia has a selection of performance-enhancing modifications in its range, including a flap system specially optimized for the Audi RS6 and a specially developed downpipe to which a particulate filter replacement pipe or a sports catalytic converter with 200 cells is connected.
